My introduction to offering bodywork was in my country of birth, where I was trained and certified by the Reflexology Association of Canada, as a practitioner in 1983 and instructor in 1984. After moving to the United States, I graduated from the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, and have been on staff there as an instructor since 1990.
With credentials to practice and teach nationally, I offer trainings around the country in Reflexology, Thai Foot Massage and other massage related topics. I am nationally certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Bodywork and Massage, and am a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and the Reflexology Association of America.
As co-owner of a busy massage therapy center in Gainesville, Florida, I maintained an active clinical practice from 1990 until 2002, when I re-located to Saint Augustine. Although my practice includes Reflexology, Thai Foot Reflexology and therapeutic massage, hand and foot work has organically grown into my specialty, my signature. People travel considerable distances to receive Chinese-based hand and foot Reflexology and/or Thai Foot Reflexology from me, because they see results from my approach to these age-old therapies.
During 2003 and 2004 I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in a national study conducted to test the effects of Reflexology on people living with peripheral neuropathy. Although the formal study lasted only six months, I chose to continue to monitor my subjects for a further six month period.
Coming back to an old unfulfilled interest, in 2007 I earned a certification in clinical Aromatherapy. With that knowledge and passion renewed, I am now able to create organic products specific to each of my client’s needs.

Beginning in 1990 I embarked on a personal journey that includes both private and classroom study of various approaches to emotional/mental/spiritual health, including a two-year professional training in Gestalt Therapy. Between 1994 and 1998 I devoted a significant amount of formal study at the Option Institute in Lenox, Massachusetts, where I learned to help not only myself, but others, in identifying and changing beliefs that limit the ability to function optimally in life. I continue to bring to everything in my life an ongoing and passionate interest in the exploration of belief systems and their profound effect on peace and happiness.
